Description:

2: Before installation

• Check whether the engine oil is clean and whether the recommended grade of oil is used
• Check if the hole diameter of the engine cylinder head seat exceeds the tolerance, and the maximum fit gap should not exceed 0.10mm

3: Installing

• During installation, try not to rotate the camshaft as much as possible, and if it is indeed impossible to avoid it, try to minimize it as much as possible:
• The continuous rotation of the camshaft has less adverse effects than the intermittent rotation of the camshaft:
• If it is inevitable to rotate and stop continuously several times, it is also necessary to keep the camshaft in different directions:
• During the installation of hydraulic tappets, do not tilt or invert the engine to prevent oil from overflowing from the hydraulic tappet chamber:
• Before starting the engine, perform the oil refill program to minimize the chance of air entering the hydraulic tappets:

4: After installation

• Under certain circumstances (repeated starting/cold starting; after engine overhaul), the valve mechanism may produce abnormal noise:
• If the abnormal noise occurs during the first engine operation (after major maintenance), the engine must be at a constant speed of 2500 rpm for approximately 4 minutes
• Then, let the engine idle for approximately 30 seconds:
• At this point, if the abnormal sound disappears, it indicates that the hydraulic tappet is completely vented. If the abnormal sound persists, repeat the above cycle.
